Recipes - Biscuits - Fruit Squares
Ingredients:
250g Margerine
1 cup sugar
250g mixed fruit
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
2 packets Marie biscuits
8 cherries
Pinch of salt
Method:
Melt the sugar and margerine, add to the fruit.
Beat slowly for 5 minutes.
Beat the eggs, add vanilla, salt and milk into the sugar mixture.
Line a dish with Marie Biscuits. Crush the remaining biscuits and add to the mixture.
Pour into the lined dish and cool. Sprinkle with castor sugar and cut into squares.
Keep refrigerated.
